Remote Servers (NT_REMOTE_SERVERS)
This application class monitors the performance of activities between the primary domain controller (PDC) on Windows NT or the Domain Controller (DC) on Windows 2000 or higher and other servers on the network.
NT_REMOTE_SERVERS is discovered on servers that are configured as PDCs (for Windows NT) or DCs (for Windows 2000 or higher). An instance of the class is created for all other servers within the domain.
Notes
- The Remote Servers monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_REMOTE_SERVERS application class in BMC PATROL.
- This application class is inactive by default.
