Processes Group (NT_PROCESS_GROUP)
Allows you to group a number of user-specified processes that you can monitor together as a single instance icon.
Note
The Processes Group monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_PROCESS_GROUP application class in BMC PATROL.
When you double-click an NT_PROCESS_GROUP instance icon, NT_PROCESS instance icons appear for the processes in the group. For information on creating and monitoring process groups, see Configuring a process group.
The NT_PROCESS_Group application class does not have any parameters.

The following information is displayed on the NT_PROCESS_GROUP InfoBox:
Item | Description |
Icon type | the type of icon selected (computer, application, container, parameter) |
State | the current state of the object |
Application class | name of the application class |
Default username | the default PATROL user name, if any |
Worst Parameter | the name of the application parameter that is having the most problems, if any |
History Retention | the length of time history is retained |
Instance Name | the name and label of this instance of the application |
