Paging Files Performance (NT_PAGEFILE_CONTAINER)

Acts as a container for the NT_PAGEFILE application class and helps you collect information regarding the page file instances that you want to monitor.


The Paging Files Performance monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_PAGEFILE_CONTAINER application class in BMC PATROL.


The following information is displayed on the NT_PAGEFILE_CONTAINER InfoBox:



Icon type

the type of icon selected (computer, application, container, parameter)


the current state of the object

Application class

name of the application class

Default user name

the default PATROL user name, if any

Worst parameter

the name of the application parameter that is having the most problems, if any
If more than one parameter is in a warning or an alarm state, the parameter with the most severe problems is shown

History retention

the length of time history is retained

NT KM version

the version of the PATROL KM for Windows OS currently in use

Total Allocated Page Space 
Physical Memory Size

The amount of physical memory on the machine in KB.
