Network Interface (NT_NETWORK)
Monitors the network interface and the rates that bytes and packets are received and sent over a network TCP/IP connection.
Note
The Network Interface monitor type in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the NT_NETWORK application class in BMC PATROL.
InfoBox
The following information is displayed on the NT_NETWORK InfoBox:
Item | Description |
Icon type | the type of icon selected (computer, application, container, parameter) |
State | the current state of the object |
Application class | name of the application class |
Default user name | the default PATROL user name, if any |
Worst parameter | the name of the application parameter that is having the most problems, if any |
History retention | the length of time history is retained |
NT KM version | the version of the PATROL KM for Windows OS currently in use |
Description | text description of the network adapter |
Service Name | the name of the Windows service that uses the adapter |
Manufacturer | the name of the network adapter manufacturer |
Product Name | the name of the network adapter |
