BlueScreen Status (BskStatus)


Displays the status of the Blue Screen detection and the status of changes made to the system's Stop error configuration parameters.

Note

The BlueScreen Status attribute in BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management is referred as the BskStatus parameter in BMC PATROL.

This parameter can have the following values:

0

No action is necessary.

1

The system crash settings have been changed. For the new settings to take effect, the computer must be rebooted.

2

The system has crashed (blue screen). PATROL performs the actions specified by the NT_BSK application.

Default Action Taken by PATROL

  • The KM determines if the PATROL Agent is running on a Windows machine.
  • If a Stop error has occurred on the server, the KM is set to an alarm state.
