Health AT A Glance (NT_HEALTH)
Attributes (parameters)
The following attributes are available for this monitor type:
Name | Description | Unit | Default Performance Key Indicator (KPI) |
---|---|---|---|
Event Log Errors (EventLogErrors) | Monitors the number of event log errors recorded in all of the monitored event logs. | # | No |
HealthCollector | Collects the data and sets the values for the NT_HEALTH parameters. | Not applicable | No |
Health Summary (HealthSummary) | Shows the status of all of the parameters that the NT_HEALTH parameters gather data from. If a parameter that NT_HEALTH collects data from is not loaded or is not available, then the NT_HEALTH parameters that depend on the missing parameter is set to an offlline state. | Not applicable | No |
Highest Percentage of Disk Used (DiskUsage) | Monitors the cumulative status of system disks. By default, this parameter enters an alarm state when disk usage on any of the system disks causes the LDldFreeSpacePercent parameter of the Logical Disk application class to enter an alarm state. | % | No |
Memory Usage (MemoryUsage) | Displays the amount of memory in use. This value is calculated by using the MEMmemAvailableBytes parameter and the total system memory. The attribute is supported in remote monitoring. | % Memory used | Yes |
Resource Contention (ResourceContention) | Monitors the server for resource contention and enters an alarm state when it detects that multiple threads are contending for a shared resource and the resource cannot respond adequately. This parameter enters into an alarm state under the following conditions:
The attribute is supported in remote monitoring. |
| No |
System Paging (SystemPaging) | It provides the rate (in percentage) at which pages are read from or written to disk to the number of pages faulted. This attribute is measured at operating system layer. The attribute is supported in remote monitoring. | % | No |
Total Processor Utilization (ProcessorUtilization) | Displays the overall CPU utilization for the server. By default, this parameter enters an alarm state when the CPU utilization of any of the system processors causes the CPUprcrProcessorTimePercent parameter to enter an alarm state. The attribute is supported in remote monitoring. | % | Yes |
Windows Management Instrumentation Availability (WMIAvailability) | Monitors the availability of WMI. This parameter is active only if WMI is installed on the computer. To determine the availability of WMI, PATROL verifies the following information:
When this parameter enters an alarm state, it is annotated with information about the problem. |
| No |
