This attribute reports the collective capacity of all devices that form a ZPOOL. It reports the maximum size available for any file-system defined on the ZPOOL to store data. It also reports the maximum data size that can be stored in all the ZFS file-systems defined on top of this ZPOOL.
The size of the pool grows dynamically as devices are added to the ZPOOL.
