Ability to map instance name to device

The KM enables you to map an instance name to a device. For more information, see Mapping instances to devices.

Ability to add attribute metadata to the script output

You can assign units to script outputs and configure them as key performance indicator (KPI). For more information, see Configuring metadata for script outputs.

Support for multiple script output instances for local monitoring

You can configure the LINUX-UNIX shell scripts and Windows PowerShell monitor types to run scripts that return multiple output instances. For more information, see Configuring LINUX-UNIX shell scripts monitor type and Configuring Windows PowerShell monitor type.

Updates to the value range of the Timeout and Poll interval fields

The range of values allowed in the following fields is updated. For more information, see Configuring Windows PowerShell monitor type and Configuring LINUX-UNIX shell scripts monitor type.
