Monitoring of Oracle Net Listeners

Use PATROL for Oracle Enterprise Database to monitor Oracle Net Listeners. The following information can be monitored:

• Listener status 
• Services associated with the listeners

The following classes are added to monitor listeners:

• Oracle Net Listeners (KOE_LISTENER)
• Oracle Net Listener RAC Host (KOE_RAC_LISTENER_HOST)
• Oracle Net Listener Host (KOE_LISTENER_HOST)
• Oracle Net Listeners Service Handler (KOE_LISTENER_HANDLERS)
• Oracle Net Listeners Service (KOE_LISTENER_INSTANCE)
• Oracle Net Listener (KOE_LISTENER_NAME)
• Oracle Net Listeners Services (KOE_LISTENER_SERVICE)

Support for additional operating systems

The following operating systems are now supported:

• HP-UX 11i 31 (B11.31), 64-bit, Itanium 2
• Oracle Solaris 11.x
