9.7.11: Service Pack 2

The PATROL for Oracle Database version 9.7.11 service pack has been enhanced with the following changes and new features.

Enhancements

Support for Windows 2016

PATROL for Oracle Database 9.7.11 now supports Windows 2016 (x86_64).

Introduced a new pconfig variable

A new pconfig variable /OracleConfig.<SID>.IsNotDG has been introduced to reduce the load on the system when the instance is not part of a dataguard setup. Once you enable this variable, the KM stops executing SRVCTL. For more information, see Agent configuration variables.

Deprecated features

Support for HTML reporting is dropped

The menu command (PCO) of HTML reporting has been dropped from this version of the KM.

Support for Windows and Linux 32-bit is dropped

The support for Windows x86 (32-bit) and Linux x86 (32-bit) has been dropped from this version of the KM.
