Menu commands


The PATROL for PATROL for Microsoft SQL Server includes menu commands that you can use from pop-up menus.

Environment configuration

Allows you to configure the MSSQL environment.

  • Add new environment
  • Modify environment
  • Delete environment

Debug PSL

Enables or disables the PSL debug

Menu commands

Description

Configure perfmons

Set the Perfmon monitoring level for selected MS SQL server regex from list.

Levels:

  • None- Disables the monitoring of any perfmon object
  • Most Important- (Recommended) Monitors all important perfmon objects
  • Full- Enables monitoring of any perfmon object
  • Custom- Allows you to manually choose the objects to monitor

Configure time based parameters configuration

Enable this option to set the following parameters:

  1. Long Running Transactions criteria
  2. SQL Agent Hung Jobs criteria
  3. Idle Processes criteria
  4. Number of Blocking Processes criteria

Configure custom SQL queries

Allows you to configure any SQL query and to get specific information about that query, like Response time,
Status of the query execution, value (only on a single result).

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
