Error messages

Writer: Use this page or section to describe error messages issued by the product. Create child pages as necessary to prevent topics from becoming overly long, dividing the contents by message number groups or components.

Do not use the {expander} macro on this page to organize error messages into a single topic. When content is hidden in the {expander} macro, it is not findable with the browser's Find (Ctrl+F) feature.

If you document other types of messages (for example, status messages), do so in a page that is located and titled according to the task or subject to which they pertain.

Use the following structure to document error messages. If your messages do not have a number, omit that column. Do not leave a cell blank; if you have no information, show None or Not applicable. Delete the following examples from your table.
