The PATROL for Amazon EC2 is a knowledge module that reports and monitors availability and performance across critical areas of Amazon Web Services cloud environment. It issues visual warnings and alarms when thresholds are exceeded, allowing easy identification of problem areas. It enables the event-based triggering of automatic user-supplied recovery or intervention actions.
