PATROL Agent configuration variables

The following table lists the configuration variables for PATROL for AIX. You can use the PATROL Configuration Manager or the wpconfig utility to view variable settings or to deploy them to other computers. See the PATROL Configuration Manager User Guide or the online technical documentation for BMC PATROL Agent 9.6 for more information.

Set this variable to 1 to enable the LPAR data collector debug.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Enable
  • 0 - Disable

Set this variable to 1 to enable the LPAR discovery collector debug.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Enable
  • 0 - Disable

/IAK/<hostname>/ManagedSystemCollector/debug

Set this variable to 1 to enable the Managed System collector debug.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Enable
  • 0 - Disable

/IAK/<hostname>/ManagedSystemDiscovery/debug

Set this variable to 1 to enable the Managed System Discovery debug.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Enable
  • 0 - Disable
0 - Disable

/IAK/<hostname>/PoolCollector_debug

Set this variable to 1 to enable the Pool collector debug.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Enable
  • 0 - Disable
0 - Disable

/IAK/<hostname>/SEACollector_debug

Set this variable to 1 to enable the Shared Ethernet Adapter collector debug.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Enable
  • 0 - Disable
0 - Disable

/IAK/<hostname>/SEADiscoveryCollector_debug

Set this variable to 1 to enable the Shared Ethernet Adapter discovery collector debug.

Valid values:

  • 1 - Enable
  • 0 - Disable

PVMMon/<HMC_NAME>/Enable_SEA

Set this variable to enable collection of Shared Ethernet Adapter.

  • 1 = Enable
  • 0 = Disable
