Asset Contracts dashboard
As a dashboard user, you can use the Asset Contracts dashboard to get the details of contracts of the Computer System assets like the count of active contracts and the number of assets by expiring warranty.For instructions on creating or editing dashboards, see Configuring dashboards, panels, and queries. Example: Tracking software licenses with nearing expiry date
Garth, the asset manager, wants to know the count of software licenses that are nearing the expiry date so that he can take actions accordingly.

To view the dashboard
- On the left navigation pane, hover your mouse over the Dashboards icon and click Manage.
Click the Helix ITSM folder and then click Asset Contracts.
Tip: Quick access from the home page
To quickly open the dashboard from the home page, mark it as a favorite by using the star icon. Additionally, after you open a dashboard, it is available under Recently viewed dashboards on the home page.
Panels in the Asset Contracts dashboard
Displays the filters to view the information on the dashboard. You can filter the data on the Asset Contracts dashboard based on the following parameters:
|Total Contracts||Displays the total number of contracts.|
|Contract Distribution by Type||Displays the number of active contracts by types in a pie chart.|
|Contract Distribution by Type - Table||Displays the number of active contracts by types in a tabular format.|
|Assets with Expiring Warranty|
|Total Assets||Displays the total number of assets with expiring warranty.|
|Asset Distribution by Expiring Warranty||Displays the total number of assets with expiring warranty along with their types in a pie chart.|
|Asset Distribution by Expiring Warranty - Table||Displays the total number of assets with expiring warranty along with their types in a tabular format.|
