Upgrading

The upgrade methods are similar to the methods for installing a new product. You run the installation program from a graphical user interface (GUI) or from a command line. This section provides an overview of the upgrade process and the procedures for performing platform upgrades with the GUI and command-line options.

Important

For upgrading to any patch, you must upgrade to the latest released service pack version first and then upgrade to a patch. For example, to upgrade to BMC Atrium Orchestrator Platform 7.9.01 Patch 3, you must first upgrade to 7.9.01 and then install the patch.

Warning

Support for Atrium Single Sign-On is discontinued for BAO Platform 7.9.01 and later versions. Upgrades to 7.9.01 must use Remedy Single Sign-On.

      That page is under development and not available yet. It will be made public when 7.9.01 is released. I am sorry that the link appears in this page and will attempt to correct that.
