CDP installation worksheet

The primary configuration distribution peer (CDP) is a required server component that you install after the repository. The initial grid is added when you install the primary CDP. Before installing the CDP, use this worksheet to record information specific to your system. The installation parameters in this worksheet correspond to the parameters in the GUI installation and the options file.

You can install the optional BMC Atrium Orchestrator Operator Control Panel (OCP), with the CDP. To install the OCP with the CDP, use the OCP worksheet with the CDP installation worksheet.

Note

If you are installing a non-English version of the Operator Control Panel,  you must install it separately from the CDP. You must install the non-English OCP and CDP on separate Tomcat servers.

The default port is the repository web port plus 10. For example, if the repository port is 28080, the Repository HA address is 28090.

Notes

  • This entry is required for installations/upgrades with embedded RSSO installations. This is not applicable if you are using external RSSO on the CDP.
  • Often multiple IP addresses are detected by the installer (on a machine that has multiple NICs). Verify the default address and port number and replace them if required.
