Installation roadmap for BMC Service Desk Automation run book

This topic describes the installation roadmap to implement the BMC Service Desk Automation run book.

Important

Before you begin installing any of the products required for the BMC Service Desk Automation run book, ensure that you review the known and corrected issues for each of the product.

Required products  

Consult the following table for the products required for implementing the BMC Service Desk Automation run book integrating with BMC Service Request Management and BMC MyIT.

Note

The BMC Service Desk Automation run book is compatible only with the versions mentioned in the Supported versions column.

BMC recommends that you install only the supported versions of the products to be able to install the run book.

Install BMC Remedy ITSM Change Management version 9.0 and BMC Remedy ITSM Incident Management version 9.0 or later.

BMC Service Request
Management
9.0

Install BMC Service Request Management version 9.0 or later.

BMC MyIT (Optional)

Install BMC MyIT version 2.6.

Note: You must install BMC MyIT only if you want to automate fulfillment of the BMC MyIT requests by using the BMC Service Desk Automation run book.
