Viewing configuration check log files and changing logging level
When you run the BMC Remedy Configuration Check utility, a log file (configchecker.txt) is generated and placed in the ./configchecker/Logs directory. You can use the log file to troubleshoot the BMC Remedy Configuration Check utility. You can also find additional information about the results of the checks that are run in the log file.
You can generate log files at the following levels:
- INFO (default)
- DEBUG
To change the logging level to DEBUG
Set the following line in the ./configchecker/log4j.properties file:
log4j.logger.com.bmc.arsys.prechecker.framework.service.
impl.ARPrecheckerFrameworkServiceImpl=DEBUG
impl.ARPrecheckerFrameworkServiceImpl=DEBUG
