Setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable

Before running the BMC Remedy AR System driver for the AR System server on a UNIX system, add an entry to the library path environment variable (LD_LIBRARY_PATH). This variable is not set by default. The following example shows how to adjust the variable if you are using the Bourne shell:


LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/<ARSystemServerInstallDir>/bin
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Important

You can set this variable in the .bmc_profile file for UNIX operating systems.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
