What are the available deployment modes? | BMC Helix Service Management supports two deployment modes: CORE and FULL. Review the components you need and choose the mode that aligns with your operational goals. You can choose from the following deployment options:
Important: Regardless of the selected mode, the system installs the complete solution. You can activate additional applications later without requiring a separate installation. |
Can I install just the platform components? | Choose the CORE deployment mode while installing BMC Helix Service Management. In the CORE mode, the system installs the complete BMC Helix Service Management solution, including all platform and application components. However, only the platform components are activated, while the application pods are scaled down to zero replicas. See Deploy BMC Helix Service Management platform components. |
Can I install only BMC HelixGPT along with the platform components? | When installing BMC Helix Service Management, choose the CORE deployment mode and select the BMC HelixGPT option. This selection only activates the platform components and BMC HelixGPT. |
