Viewing data enrichment mapping data

The Mapping Data sub-tab on the Data Enrichment tab of the Data Mapping page (select Data Migration > Data Mapping) is displayed only for mapping data enrichments.

A mapping data enrichment allows spreadsheet data to be used to look up and populate data as part of a data migration. The spreadsheet must contain the fields that will be used to look up the correct value and the data to be populated.

The example shows the Mapping data for a conversion of Approval Process definitions.

If you want to change the data, you can click Upload CSV to upload a new CSV file. This file updates only the data held in BMC Helix Data Manager. The file does not change the name or number of columns that are read only the first time a CSV file is uploaded.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
