Troubleshooting Configuration File plug-in issues
The Configuration File plug-in implements the Configuration ARDBC form and is used to display or edit configuration items in the ar.cfg/ar.conf file.
Plug-in type
Configuration File plug-in is a C-based ARDBC plug-in.
AR System server connectivity
The AR System server interacts with the Configuration File plug-in when an event occurs on the Configuration ARDBC form.
The Configuration File plug-in is installed in the following location:
- (Microsoft Windows) <ARInstallationFolder>\ardbcconf.dll
- (UNIX) <ARInstallationFolder>/bin/ardbcconf.so
Configuration information
The Configuration File plug-in is configured in the AR System Administration: AR System Configuration Generic UI form.
To troubleshoot Configuration File plug-in issues
- Verify the Configuration File plug-in configuration and check whether the AR System Administration: AR System Configuration Generic UI form includes the plug-in file name. See Plugin option in Configuration-settings-N-R.
For example, check whether the AR System Administration: AR System Configuration Generic UI form includes the following setting:
Plugin: ardbcconf.dll
