Importing and exporting object definitions and locking objects

This section describes the administrative tasks involved in managing BMC Remedy AR System form objects, views, and applications.

Note

 Exporting and importing object definitions (.def or .xml ) files is not the same task as exporting and importing data (.arx, .asc, .csv, or . xml ). For information about importing data into a form using BMC Remedy Data Import, see Importing data into AR System forms. You can also export data as part of a deployable application.
