Browser settings for scripting and ActiveX controls

For the  Mid Tier to work properly, the ActiveX settings for the XMLHTTP protocol between the browsers and Mid Tier  must be set correctly.

Typically, if you use all the default scripting settings in Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers, you should not see any problems with the Mid Tier . Otherwise, enable the following ActiveX settings for your browser.

For the Mid Tier  to open windows properly, users must configure their browser or pop-up window-blocking software to allow pop-up windows originating from the web server's address. If your browser has a popup blocker enabled, you will be prompted to disable it when you log on to the Mid Tier . If you do not disable the popup blocker, the Mid Tier  will fail to open a new window or a new dialog box, including expand boxes and currency dialog boxes.
