Reviewing the status of the translation progress
The Translation Status panel of the Details tab (the following figure) displays the following information about what is translated:
- Locale--A list of the locales to which you are localizing. Select the locale whose status you want to view.
- Do Not Translate--The number of items you do not want translated. To modify which items you want translated, click the number and select the items.
- Ready to Translate--The number of items that will be translated. This number is updated when you extract the strings. (See Extracting the strings for localization.)
- Ready for Review--The number of items that have already been translated and are ready for you to review. This number is updated after you import the translated strings. (See Importing the translated strings.)
- Flagged--Items that you should review before sending to the translators. To flag items, click the number and select the items.
- Reviewed--Items that you have reviewed. They are also listed with the Do Not Translate or Ready to Translate items.

To select what is not to be translated
- In BMC Remedy Developer Studio, open the localization package definition.
- In the Localization Status section, click Translation Status.
The Details tab appears and displays the Translation Status panel. - From the Locale list, select the locale you want to review.
- Click the number link next to Ready to Translate.
The Localization Item Details dialog box appears. - In the Localization panel, select the string that you do not want translated.
If the list is very long, use the fields in the Filtering Options panel to narrow down the list. - In the Translation panel, select Do Not Translate from the State list.
- Click OK.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
