Localizing file menus
Follow the steps given below to localize the file menu:
- Open the file menu in BMC Remedy Developer Studio.
- Open the file indicated in the path on the File Name file.
- Localize the entries in a text editor.
- Save a localized version of the text file in the format: filename. fileExtension. language_country.
BMC Remedy AR System searches for the appropriate version of a file menu according to what locale is set as the user preference.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
