Adding a panel to a panel holder


This section explains the steps for adding a panel to a panel holder.

To add a panel to a panel holder

  1. Select the panel holder to which you want to add a panel.
  2. In the Properties, select Add New Panel, and click the ellipsis button.
  3. In the Add New Panel dialog box, enter a unique database name for the new panel.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Set permissions for the new panel by selecting Permissions and clicking the ellipsis button.
  6. Set other properties for the new panel as needed by selecting the panel and editing the relevant properties. For more information, see Field properties.

Important

To specify a custom database ID (for example, to control the ID for purposes of shared workflow), change the default ID before saving the panel.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
