Selecting z-order from the BMC Remedy Developer Studio toolbar

The Developer Studio toolbar provides four toolbar icons (the following figure) that enable additional layering options and allow control of the z-order of fields in a form.

These icons perform the following actions, from left to right:

  • Bring to Front — Moves an object to the front of the stack, so that it appears on top of all other objects
  • Bring Forward — Moves an object one position forward in the stack
  • Send to Back — Moves an object to the back of the stack, so that it is appears behind all other objects
  • Send Backward — Moves an object one position backward in the stack

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
