Running external processes on a client computer


For active links, when you run a process on a client computer, consider whether you need to verify that the process can run on the client computer. If the process is not available on all hardware platforms and operating systems, you can build a qualification for the active link by using the $HARDWARE$ and $OS$ keywords to verify that the client is running on an appropriate platform or operating system at the time the active link executes.
