Configuring the Overview page
This section describes the settings that you can specify and update by using the Mid Tier Configuration Tool. To access the pages for these settings, click the appropriate links in the navigation pane.

Mid Tier system information parameters
The following table lists the parameters in the BMC Remedy Mid Tier system information section.
Overview settings - BMC Remedy Mid Tier system information
Setting | Value |

Mid Tier Version | The version of the BMC Remedy Mid Tier that is installed. |
Installation Directory | The directory path being used for your BMC Remedy Mid Tier installation. |
Web Server Information | The product name of the web server being used with this installation of the BMC Remedy Mid Tier (for example, Microsoft IIS) and the product name of the Java servlet engine being used with this installation of BMC Remedy Mid Tier (for example, Apache Tomcat). Note: In some web configurations, only the servlet engine details are shown. |
Operating System Name | The operating system used on your computer (for example, Oracle Solaris 10 or Windows 2003 Server). |
Java Version | The version of the Java Software Development Kit (SDK) that is installed on your computer (for example, 1.5.0). |
