Accessing preference forms for centralized preferences

Centralized preferences are saved on a preference server. Preference servers contain the following preference forms, which are installed when you install the BMC Remedy AR System server.

To access these forms through the AR System Administration Console, click User Preferences or Admin Preferences.

In BMC Remedy User Tool, If the preference forms are not present on the server or if the user does not choose a preference server, the local ar.ini file is used to determine their preferences.

If the preference forms are not installed, you can import the definition files. For more information, see Exporting-and-importing-definitions.
