Repository Object form


 
 The UDM:RepositoryObject vendor form lists all existing transformations and jobs from the repository for which the current user has permissions.

This vendor form supports three search methods:

  • Search by type — Returns all transformations or jobs from all repository directories for which the current user has permissions.
  • Search by type and directory — Returns all transformations or jobs from a specific directory for which the current user has permissions.
  • Search with no qualification or (1 = 1) qualification — Lists all jobs from all repository directories when the default value in the Type field is job.
Example

To view all transformation in the /bmc_samples directory:

  1. Open the UDM:RepositoryObject form in Search mode.
  2. Enter /bmc_samples in the Directory field.
  3. Select Transformation in the Type field.
  4. Press Search.

The UDM:RepositoryObject form contains the following fields for each object:

  • ID — A unique identifier automatically created when a new repository object is created.
  • Name — A name assigned to the object.
  • Type — The type of the repository object such as a job or a transformation.
  • Directory — The repository directory in which the transformation or job is stored.
  • Description — An optional description provided by the user when creating the object.
  • Modified By — The name of the user that last modified the object.
  • Modified Date — The date and time the object was last modified.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
