Leveraging search in your application

To add a search capability in your application, you can use full-text search (FTS), global search, or cognitive insights based on your business needs. Use global search when you want to search multiple record definitions in an application, use full-text search when you want an index-driven search capability, and use cognitive insights when you want an AI-driven search capability.
