Enabling a custom application for cognitive service

To create training data sets and train the BMC Helix Platform Cognitive Service, you must create a configuration (of the type in-bundle setting) in your application.

To create a configuration

1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Workspace tab. 
2. Select the application in which you want to create a setting.
3. Click the Configurations tab.
4. Click New > In-bundle Settings. 

5. In the New In-bundle Settings window, specify the required properties, and click Save.  

   The following table provides information about the properties: 

   Property	Description	Example values
   Component name	Indicates the name for the configuration that is the name of the in-bundle setting	Cognitive training
   Is View Component	Opens a view definition in the application You not need to select this property.	Not selected
   Registered Module Name	Specifies the unique name of the registered module Select the cognitive-training option from the drop down list.	cognitive-training
   Status	Provides the status of the configuration You must select this property.	Selected
   Available in Navigation Sidebar	Makes the configuration available in BMC Helix Innovation Studio Administration tab. You must select this property.	Selected
   Component Label	Specifies the unique label for the configuration The label you provide appears as a setting in the Administration tab.	Cognitive Training
   Show In	Specifies whether you want to show the configuration in the application, or in BMC Helix Innovation Studio, or both You must select In BMC Helix Innovation Studio option or Both option (that is in BMC Helix Innovation Studio and in application)	In BMC Helix Innovation Studio
   Permissions	Defines the permissions associated with the setting You can add permissions for a group or a role.	Administrator group
   First Menu	Defines the first menu that gets displayed in BMC Helix Innovation Studio Administration tab.	My application
   Second Menu	Defines the second menu that gets displayed in BMC Helix Innovation Studio Administration tab.

After you create the application configuration, it is displayed in the Settings section in the Administration tab. The following image displays an example configuration created by using the example values:
