Tailoring the application skin and brand

BMC Helix Innovation Studio enables you to customize the appearance of your Digital Service applications that suit your organization's branding. Using the Administration tab in  BMC Helix Innovation Studio you can do the following customization:

• Configure the skin for an application – Change the appearance of components (such as panels, links, borders, or text) on a view of an application without having to modify the application.
• Configure the logo for an application – Customize the look and feel of the application by uploading the tenant's brand-related image files and messages.

To configure the skins for applications

1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
2. Select Configure My Server > Skinning and Branding > Define Application Colors.

3. In the right pane, configure the parameters for colors and logo images and save your changes.
   The following table provides a list of available parameters for each area:

To revert the changes to the default values, click Reset to Default.

To add logo images

1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab. 
2. Select Configure My Server > Skinning and Branding > Define Application Colors.

3. In the right pane, in the Images section, upload the logo and click Save. You must use upload only PNG, JPEG, or SVG images.

After you receive a message that theme is generated, the changes are applied to the logo images.
