Managing user access and permissions


Primarily, BMC Helix Platform aims to cater to the needs of a developer, an administrator, and an application business analyst. An administrator sets up BMC Helix Platform by adding user accounts and configuring the system. A developer builds an application on BMC Helix Platform and an application business analyst defines how that application should work by implementing business processes.

An administrator can create other administrators and application business analysts by adding user accounts in BMC Helix Innovation Studio. The administrator can also create new roles for an application that is built on BMC Helix Platform and assign them to users.

The following table lists the tasks to set up user accounts, and grant users the access to manage and maintain BMC Helix Platform:
