Embedding a view using BWF Inline View component
The BWF Inline View component is available in the Shared Components section of the View designer and is visible only if the Shared Components bundle is deployed.
Use the BWF Inline View component in your custom application if you want to embed an additional view in your view.
To configure the BWF Knowledge Article Assistant component
- Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Workspace tab.
- Select your custom application.
- Navigate to the Views tab and select the view in which you want to embed another view.
- From Palette, drag the BWF Inline View component to the canvas.
- In the Properties pane, click Settings
, and then specify the properties as indicated in the following table:

| View source | Select the view source as per your requirement. You can select the View Source from the following options:

| View Name | If you select View source as Expression, Click Click to build an expression, to define a view name. If you select View Source as Definition Picker, select a view name from a drop-down list. The input parameters for that view are displayed. | |
| View Params | This option is available when you select View source as Expression. Click Click to build an expression to define parameters to pass to the embedded view. | |
| Hidden | Use the toggle key to hide or unhide the component. You can select one of the following options:

6. Click Save.
