Stopping and starting the Email Engine

To manage the Email Engine in on-premises environments:

  • On Windows: Use the Services application to start or stop the Email Engine.
  • On UNIX/Linux: Run the following command from the email engine pod to start or stop the email engine:
    /opt/bmc/ARSystem/AREmail/emaild.sh <start|stop|restart>

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
