Customizing the skins and logo for BMC Helix Innovation Studio applications

To configure the skins for BMC Helix Innovation Studio applications

1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
2. Select Application management > Skinning and branding.

3. In the right pane, configure the parameters for colors and logo images and save your changes.
   The following table provides a list of available parameters for each area:

To revert the changes to the default values, click Reset to default.

To add logo images

1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab. 
2. Select Application management > Skinning and branding.

3. In the right pane, in the Images section, upload the logo and click Save.
   You can upload only PNG, JPEG, or SVG images

After you receive a message that the theme is generated, the changes are applied to the logo images.

To customize the look and feel of the application

Based on the new BMC branding theme for applications, BMC ADAPT Theme, Images, and Buttons themes are changed to have a consistent look and feel across all BMC Helix Innovation Studio applications.

The following parameters have changed:

• BMC ADAPT Theme
  • Primary color 
  • Secondary color 
  • Active color 
  • State color 
  • Navigation bar background color
• Buttons
  • Primary background color
  • Primary border color
• Images
  • Logo (against a light background)
  • Logo (against a dark background)

To change the new default branding theme to the old theme or if you have customizations and want to apply the new branding theme, perform the following steps:

1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
2. Select Application management > Skinning and branding
3. You can customize the branding changes by one of the following options:
   • To update all settings to the new default theme, click Reset to default.

   • To update the individual value of the parameter, enter the value based on the following table:
