Configuring a webhook callback for Automation Anywhere connector


BMC Helix Innovation Studio supports webhook callbacks from an external application, so that the platform receives notifications whenever an event takes place in the external application. These notifications can then be used to trigger specific rules or processes.

Before you begin

To configure the webhook callback

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab. 
  2. Select Integrations > Webhook callback configuration
  3. On the Webhook Callback Configuration page, click New
  4. On the Create New Callback Configuration page, enter the following details:

    Field

    Description

    Configuration name

    Enter a meaningful name for this configuration.

    Bundle name

    Select the name of the application for which you want to use the Automation Anywhere webhook callback.

    Processor

    Select RPA.

    X-AA-RPA-CLIENT-ID

    Enter a GUID or string for authorization.

    Callback URL

    The URL is populated automatically.

  5. Click Save.
