Cross-referencing blank passwords
When the Cross Reference Blank Password option is selected, AR System attempts authentication through the AREA LDAP Configuration form. Make sure to set the user password in the AREA LDAP Configuration form and not in the AR System User form to authenticate the user successfully. If the user does not provide a password, AR System rejects the login attempt.
To cross-reference blank passwords
Open the AR System Administration: Server Information form and click the EA tab.
In the External Authentication Server RPC Program Number field, enter 390695. For information about authentication behavior for the 390695 RPC program number, see AREA-behavior-when-the-RPC-program-number-is-390695.
Select the Cross Reference Blank Password check box.
