Enabling a custom application for cognitive service

To create training data sets and train AI Service Management (Categorization and Classification), you must create a configuration (of the type in-bundle setting) in your application.

To create a configuration

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Workspace tab. 
  2. Select the application in which you want to create a setting.
  3. Click the Configurations tab.
  4. Click New > In-bundle setting. 
  5. In the New In-bundle settings window, specify the required properties, and click Save.  

The following table provides information about the properties:

Component name

Indicates the name for the configuration that is the name of the in-bundle setting

Cognitive training

View

Select a view definition from the list.

Enable access from

Specifies whether you want to show the configuration in the application, or in BMC Helix Innovation Studio, or both.

Component Label

Specifies the unique label for the configuration
The label you provide appears as a setting on the Administration tab.

Cognitive Training

Permissions

Defines the permissions associated with the setting
Click Edit to add or add permission to a group or a role.

Administrator group

First Menu

Defines the first menu that gets displayed on the  BMC Helix Innovation Studio Administration tab.

My application

Second Menu

Defines the second menu that gets displayed on the  BMC Helix Innovation Studio Administration tab.


After you create the application configuration, it is displayed in the Settings section on the Administration tab. The following image displays an example configuration created by using the example values:
