Requesting more information


From Approval central, view the approval requests and ask for more information about approval requests as needed.

To request more information about an approval request, you can create a separate More Information request by using the AP:More Information form to ask questions and receive responses before acting on an approval request.

To create a More Information request

  1. Log in to AR System as the sample user Larry Goldstein, and open Approval Central.
  2. Select the I need a new computer request from the Approval Requests table, and click the Approval Details Icon_Approval_Details.png.

  3. On the AP:Show-Detail form, open the Activity Log tab, and click Add.

  4. In the Activity Log Details panel, select Question from the Type list.
  5. In the Question To field, specify the login name of the person from whom you need more information.
  6. In the Question field, enter appropriate text.
  7. Click Save.
    An entry is added to the Activity Log table.
