To create an approval request form

  1. In Developer Studio, create a regular form and add the fields necessary for requesters to create an approval request.

  2. Set the field permissions and default values on the core fields of your approval request form as listed in the following table.
    Setting these permissions allow approvers to change the fields. Otherwise, the fields listed in the table can be modified only by the Developer Studioadministrator.
