Accessing the AR System Deployment Management console


By using the AR System Deployment Management Console, you can migrate workflow customizations and code across environments.

To open the AR System Deployment Management Console 

  1. In a browser, go to the following URL:
    http://<midtierserver>:<port>/arsys/forms/<servername>
  2. Log on with appropriate permissions. For more information, see Deployment-Application-roles-and-permissions.
  3. Select AR System Administration > AR System Deployment Management Console.

Displays the packages by state, in the Deployment Management panel.


Filter By Last Modified Date

Displays the packages by date, in the Deployment Management panel.

Manage package

Provides options to manage your package.

Provides options to perform operations such as building or deploying a package.

Transfer Package

Provides options to perform import and export operations on a package.

Provides options to configure and log the activities performed in the Deployment Management console.

Lists the packages created.

Manage Package

The following table describes the options available in the navigation pane to manage the package:

Create

Package together a set of workflow definitions, data, and Service Request Management objects that you have created by using the standard AR System development tools. 

This package is used to move the workflow and data between systems.

View

View and modify the contents of a package.

To view a package, select the package from the table and click View.

You can modify the package when the status is Draft.

Status is the intermittent stage during the deployment of a package.

Delete

Delete the package.

To delete a package, select the package from the table, and click Delete.

Copy

Create a new package with same contents from the selected package.

The version number is incremented and the State field is set to Draft.

To create a copy of an existing package, select the package from the table and click Copy. For more information, see Defining-a-package.

Transfer package

Export

Exports the package to a specified location.

For more information, see Importing-and-exporting-a-package.

You can export the package if the package is built successfully or if you perform a rollback.

Import

Imports a package to the console from a specified location.

For more information, see Importing-and-exporting-a-package.

Application Configuration

Validates a package against a set of analyzer rules. For more information, see Validating-a-package.

View Activity Log

Records all the activities and errors for the package. For more information, see Working-with-logs.
