Log information for workflows


All events that occur during workflow execution are displayed in a log window. The log statements help you to debug your application by displaying the following information:

  • The event label (Start and End), event name, field (Button/Menu) on which the event occurred, form name, view name, and time stamp.
    For example:

  • Meaningful descriptions for all active link functions.
    For example:

  • Indented log statements.
    For example:

  • Active link label (Start and End), active link name, form name, view name, and time stamp.

The log window contains a Clear button to clear the log information.

Important

If you have logged out of the Mid Tier, you cannot clear the log information by clicking Clear in the log window.
