Stopping and starting the Email Engine
For on-premises deployments, you can stop and start Email Engine using the Services window (on Windows) or manually (on Windows or UNIX).
Use the Manage Process tab of the AR System Management Console to start or stop the Email Engine service. For information about using the Manage Process tab, see Monitoring-and-managing-processes-across-the-server-group.
