You can use the Approval Console in your application to create views for an approval process. You can create a view by creating a view definition that contains the Approval Console view component found in the View designer.
The following table provides information about working with approval requests by using the Approval Console:

View details about an approval request. | In the Approval Console, click the appropriate tab, for example, Pending, and select a request to view its details in the Request Details pane. |
| To process an approval request
- In the Approval Console, click the Pending tab.
- From the list of approval requests, select one or more requests.
- Based on your requirements, click Approve, Reject, On Hold, or Reassign.
- (Only if you click Reassign) In the Reassign Request dialog box, from the Reassign Request To list, select another approver, and then click Save.
Based on your action, the requests are moved to the Approved, Rejected, or On Hold tab. You can no longer see the reassigned requests in the Approval Console.
To add a comment to an approval request - In the Approval Console, click the Pending tab.
- From the list of approval requests, select the request about which you want more information.
- From the Activity Log section, click Comments.
- In the New Comment dialog box, enter the comment.
If required, you can also add an attachment. - Click Submit.

Create a More Information request to get additional details before approving or rejecting an approval request. | - In the Approval Console, click the Pending tab.
- From the list of approval requests, select the request about which you want more information.
- From the Activity Log section at the bottom, click Questions.
- In the New Question dialog box, enter the user name and your question.
If required, you can also add an attachment. - Click Submit.
The request is moved to the More Information tab.

Respond to a More Information request. | - In the Approval Console, click the More Information tab.
- From the list of More Information requests, select the request to which you want to respond.
- In the Question and Response dialog box, enter your response.
If required, you can also add an attachment. - Click Save.
