Updating the change history of fields, forms, or objects
To update the change history of a field or of an object other than a form
- Open the object for modification or select the field in the form editor.
To change the ownership of the object, in the Owner property, enter the user name of the new owner.
Any user with Administrator or Subadministrator permissions can modify an object or field, regardless of who the specified owner is for the object.
- In the New Description property, click ellipsis (...).
- In the New Description dialog box, type information about the object or about the change that you made, and click OK.
- Select File > Save.
A time stamp, your user name, and the text that you typed appear at the beginning of the Change History property.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
